# Partdex v0.9.2 Release Notes We're finally able to reveal what we've been working on over the past three months. **v0.9.2 is one of the largest updates in Partdex history, bringing major improvements to inventory management, vehicle cost recovery, employee workflow, interchange reliability, and overall platform usability.** ## Storefront Embed Builder Storefronts now include a powerful new **Embed Builder**, allowing yards to deploy their Partdex storefront directly onto their own websites. With the Embed Builder, yards can: * Customize storefront appearance * Generate embeddable storefront widgets * Integrate inventory directly into existing websites * Maintain branding consistency across their online presence * Allow customers to browse available inventory without leaving the yard's website This makes it easier than ever to connect customers with inventory while keeping traffic on your own website. Huge thanks to London Auto Sales: Parts Department, view their embed at https://londonautosalespartsdepartment.com/inventory --- ## Guided Part Inventory Wizard We've completely redesigned the inventory process with a new guided workflow: **Vehicle → Part Information → Pricing → Images → Review** This standardized inventory flow makes adding parts faster, simpler, and easier for both experienced employees and new hires. --- ## Part-Specific Information Integration Partdex now intelligently displays additional fields based on the part being inventoried. Examples include: * Bumper sensors * Fog light configuration * Trim level compatibility * Additional part-specific attributes This helps ensure more complete and accurate inventory records. --- ## Mileage-Based Quantity Tracking When inventorying mechanical components such as alternators, starters, engines, and transmissions, quantities can now be grouped by mileage. We’ve been taking feedback from the Open Beta and putting a lot of time into cleaning things up, fixing what didn’t feel right, and building a stronger foundation for where Partdex is going. This update focuses on making the system more practical for day-to-day use. 🏍️ Now Supporting Powersports Yards You can now run motorcycle and powersport salvage yards inside Partdex. Includes proper part types and full Fitmap support. 📦 Inventory 2.0 (Rebuilt) The Inventory system has been rebuilt to be faster, cleaner, and easier to work with. Bulk Tags Instead of tagging every item individually, you can now generate one tag for a quantity and scan it until it runs out. Less time tagging, less wasted labels. 📊 Track What You’re Actually Making We’ve expanded both Vehicle Records and introduced Source tracking. See profit per vehicle and break-even points Track where vehicles and parts came from View how much you’re spending with each source and your margins 💰 Log External Sales (eBay, etc.) You can now document outside sales directly inside Partdex. Everything stays in one place, so your reports actually reflect what’s going on. 🔌 Plugins (Starting with eBay Mini) We’ve started rolling out plugin support. First release: eBay Mini → Generate optimized eBay listings directly from your inventory More tools like this are coming. 🧱 UI & Structure Overhaul A lot of work went into cleaning up the structure behind the app. Inventory and Sales are now properly separated into their own sections instead of being tied together in one large system. It’s faster, easier to navigate, and sets things up better for future updates. There are also a lot of smaller fixes and mobile improvements included in this update. We’ve got more in development right now that we didn’t want to rush out, but this puts us in a much better position moving forward.

Our latest Partdex update is now live, with a major focus on lead generation and sales intelligence. This update introduces new tools designed to help yards understand who is showing interest, where leads are coming from, and how sales are actually happening. **What's New in the Sales tab?** Inside the Sales tab, users will now see two new sections: - Storefront Orders Storefront orders have been migrated from the storefront tab into Sales, making it easier to manage orders and invoices from one central location. - Lead Tracker A brand-new section designed to capture and organize customer interest before a sale ever happens. **What is Lead Tracker?** Lead Tracker gives yards visibility into customer intent across their storefront. When a signed-in customer browses parts on your storefront, Partdex now tracks key lead activity such as: - Part views - Time spent on listings - Calls initiated from listings - If a customer requested an order - If a customer requested additional information or photos This allows yards to see which parts are generating interest, which customers are actively shopping, and which leads to follow up on, even if a purchase hasn't been completed yet. **Sales Funnels & Lead Sources** This update also introduces Sales Funnels, a new setting found inside My Yard. Sales Funnels allow yards to define where their sale come from, such as: - Storefront - Facebook Marketplace - eBay - Word-of-mouth - Or custom input channels When creating an invoice, employees can now select the sales channel associated with that sale. This allows Partdex to document: - Which leads convert into sales - Which sales channels are performing best - Which sales funnels needs worked on for better performance. New Contact Actions on Storefront Listings This update also introduces new, streamlined contact options directly on storefront listings: - Call Button Customers can now call the yard directly from a listing with a single click, making it easier to connect on High-intent parts. - Request Info Button Customers can request additional information or photos without placing an order. These new actions are fully integrated with Lead Tracker, allowing yards to see which listings are driving calls and information requests Sales Quality-of-Life improvements Alongside the new lead and sales funnel tools, this update includes several quality-of-life improvements to the sales workflow: - Editable Work orders Work orders can now have additional items added by enabling edit mode, allowing changes to be made without recreating the order - Expanded Work order details Work orders now display all related information when viewing details, rather than a summary view - Expanded Invoice details Invoices now show full invoice information when viewing details, making it easier to review items, charges, and customer data at a glance.

Hello everyone! Caleb here, this update focuses on improving inventory workflow, a vehicle record overhaul, and bug fixes! *Vehicle Records Overhaul* - Each vehicle now includes a parts checklist to document teardown - Parts can be marked as pulled or not available directly from the vehicle records - When a part is pulled from a vehicle, it can be sent directly into inventory and automatically linked to the source vehicle - Alternatively, when inventorying a part independently users can now link them to existing vehicle records to automatically update the status of a vehicle located inside their salvage yard. The goal of this overhaul was to better fit the needs of Salvage yards that don't pull parts unless they're needed, as well as improve overall documentation of vehicles located in yards. *Inventory Improvements* - The layout of the Inventory tab has been resized for better readability and layout - Added thumbnails, so users can quickly preview their parts - Improved searching extensively by adding an advanced search option. *Bug fixes & stability* - Fixed a variety of bugs - Optimized multiple areas of our system for faster speeds and reliability *Small update to part tags* - Part tags now display user's yard names on them.
