Partdex was not created because Caleb Bryant wanted to start a software company. It was created because he got tired of watching salvage yards fight the same problems every single day.
Working in the parts industry, he saw how much time was wasted tracking inventory, searching for vehicles, updating sold parts, and forcing outdated software to fit modern operations. The people running these businesses were not the problem — the tools they had were.
Partdex began as a way to solve the problems he was dealing with himself. Every feature has a reason behind it, and nothing is added just to check a box. If it does not save time, make money, or simplify someone’s job, it does not belong.
What started as an inventory system is becoming a complete operating platform for the salvage industry — one place to manage vehicles, inventory, invoices, customers, online sales, and daily operations with software that feels modern and built for the work.
